Six Months
Plan your beauty preparations by checking with About Face for how far in advance to book your wedding party. Estimate how many appointments you will need to reserve. Remember - About Face is a full service salon, spa and boutique. We offer full service hair, makeup and nails as well as waxing and skincare. Refer to our menu to see all available services and pricing.
Three Months
Set up a time to meet with our wedding coordinator to finalize and confirm all appointments and estimated cost for all attending wedding party members. Please book all hair appointments for trial run and day of wedding with your regular stylist. If you are new to the salon the wedding coordinator will help you select a stylist and makeup artist and introduce you. You will also receive a grand tour of About Face to familiarize you with our surroundings and discuss and arrange deposit payments.
Two Weeks
We suggest you book an appointment for a facial with one of our expert estheticians to prepare your skin for your big day. Also we recommend you book an appointment for fresh hair color and cut.
One Week
You will have booked an appointment for your trial run with the stylist and makeup artist for your wedding. We suggest booking your final dress fitting so that after you leave About Face you’ll be able to view your gown, hair and makeup in the final picture.
Remember to schedule your facial and body waxing appointments the week before your wedding date in preparation for your wedding and honeymoon. Some clients have sensitive skin and redness may occur so it’s best not to schedule waxing on the wedding day. If necessary, our esthetician can do light touchup tweezing for the bride at no additional fee on the wedding day.
Day Before - Rehearsal Day
We suggest you book your manicure and pedicure. We recommend your wedding party come in too! Make it a relaxing Spa Day before your rehearsal.
Wedding Day
The big day has finally arrived! Deep breath! You will have booked your hair and makeup with the stylist and artist who performed our trial run. Have all wedding party members come 15 minutes early to their first scheduled appointment. Your AF wedding coordinator will have created an agenda for your convenience. You will be provided with a printed agenda prior to the wedding day.
